Evan Hays is a Corporate Development Assistant to Chartwell’s Executive team as well as Program Manager for Canopy Heritage. In the role of Corporate Development Assistant, Evan provides logistical support, research and preparation, in addition to strategic coordination services provided to Chartwell’s Executive team. He works as both a liaison between Chartwell’s Executive team and potential clients, as well as an internal administrative liaison to assist in leadership development planning. In this function Evan seeks to leverage all opportunities with a view to maximizing Chartwell’s interactions with existing and prospective clients as well as those with Chartwell team members.
Evan is a recent graduate of George Washington University, where he studied International Economics and Psychology. During his time at GWU, he was involved with Delta Phi Epsilon – professional foreign service fraternity – the GWU Boxing Club, and various formal and informal philosophy discussion groups and symposia.
Growing up in Kentucky, Evan developed an intense appreciation for history and the outdoors – part of the reason why he is so thrilled to be working on Canopy Heritage, an initiative explicitly focused on harnessing finance for environmental and historical protection. Evan lives in Colorado Springs, right at the seat of the Rocky Mountains, with his girlfriend and Cat, Paws. Evan also enjoys forays into the national forestlands as well as exerting himself in the gym.
