Javier is a Compliance Analyst with Chartwell’s Banking Compliance team and has over eight years of professional experience including two years of experience in the Financial Services industry.

Javier has detailed expertise in analyzing customer transactions, creating SAR reports, acknowledgement alerts, and driving overall operational improvements in his prior position with MVB Bank. In addition, assisting in identifying fraudulent transactions and unusual customer behavior in accordance with AML policies, procedures, and process standards.

Javier graduated from the University of New Paltz in 2019 with a degree in Marketing. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and has excellent written and verbal communication skills making him a strong analyst and powerful team player.

Javier lives in New York with his family. In his spare time, he enjoys socializing with friends, playing sports (soccer, basketball, or football) and traveling to new places around his locale trying new and exciting restaurants.
