Mark Hardin, Associate at Ankura (previously Chartwell), is responsible for transaction monitoring, alerts handling, watchlist monitoring and SAR reporting. With over 5 years of core banking experience, he previously worked at WesBanco Bank as a lead teller, where he oversaw and performed a variety of transactional activity as well as assisted with compliance execution. In addition, he was also responsible for report reconciliations and ensuring procedures were adhered to by local staff members.
Mark has been involved in and surrounded by banking his entire life, his family started two different banks and his father was also a commercial loan officer.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys traveling and learning about local history. He is also an avid fisherman and especially enjoys fly fishing and fly tying. He also loves to spend time at his family’s farm and cherishes spending time with his parents and extended family. He is also involved in various local charities in West Virginia which assist underprivileged families in the local community.
Mark is a Morgantown, West Virginia native and still proudly calls it home, where he lives with his domestic partner, his two daughters and their two golden doodles, Dolly and Jolene.
Mark is a third-generation graduate of West Virginia University school of Agriculture with a B.S. in Agricultural business Management and Rural Development, focusing mainly on Business Administration.
